19 year old United starlet Joshua King is set for a season long loan deal to Bundesliga outfit Borussia Monchengladbach after United agreed to let the young player visit foreign shores in order to improve his game.
"We have an agreement with Manchester United for a loan of one year. United presented very extensive contract work because they care intensely about their players and would like to stay in constant contact with us. The contracts must be translated and checked, that's now going back and forth between the lawyers of the two clubs. Our goal is to have him in Bad Worishofen next Monday."
Joshua spent part of last season on loan to Preston North End but a season long loan deal to the Bundesliga is a much greater prospect. SAF must see the move as a potential growth curve in the young strikers game. King made his full senior debut as a substitute against Wolves last season in the Carling Cup and United fans should watch his progress in the Bundesliga campaign as he may well break into the first team the following season. The last Norwegian striker to be a success at United was the legendary Ole Gunnar Solskjaer so hopefully King can follow in his footsteps in the future.
