Manchester United have today flown out to Bangkok in preparation for the start of the 2013 tour of Asia that will see the club visit Thailand, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong and Sweden.
It is a mammoth tour that covers over 24,000 miles but it is the norm for United to have a big pre-season tour to let the global support base get a glimpse of the squad.
Earlier, the team departed Manchester Airport with Red Mancunian providing exclusive pictures and Bangkok looks ready for their arrival with the tour bus ready and waiting.

This year’s tour kicks off at 2pm on Saturday when United take on Singha all-stars in Bangkok and could be the first time that we get to see Zaha in action since his arrival from Crystal Palace.
He has only been with the squad for two days but given Nani, Young and Valencia’s absence from the tour, it represents the perfect opportunity for him to impress David Moyes and stake a claim to a starting berth when the Premier League begins in August.
