PICTURE: Manchester United unveil surprise third summer signing

Manchester United have signed promising FC Zurich defender Saidy Janko for an undisclosed fee.

The 17-year-old full versatile full back took part in the FIFA Blue Stars Tournament earlier this year, a tournament where Adnan Januzaj won the Golden Boot, and he will join up in the academy.

Little is known about Janko but United’s academy bloods the best talent from around Europe so he will go straight into Paul McGuinness’ U18s side and could even play a part in United’s UEFA Champions League U19 tournament that begins this year.

Janko will go straight into the squad and could feature for the U18s when they take on Southampton on 21 September.
