Manchester United’s Under-21 side returns to action this Monday against Lancashire rivals Bolton Wanderers at Salford City Stadium.
After losing their first game at home to Liverpool before bouncing back with a comfortable 4-0 victory away to West Brom, United will be looking to claim their second win of the season but will face a test against a relatively strong Bolton side.
After losing their first game to Sunderland, Wanderers have gone on to draw their last two games against West Brom and Middlesbrough and will be looking to change their fortunes against a weakened United side.
Since the 4-0 victory over West Brom, United have let influential Chilean forward Angelo Henriquez join Spanish minnows Real Zaragoza on a season long loan as well as letting Nick Powell move to Wigan in the Championship for the season.
United are also set to be without Adnan Januzaj, Andreas Pereira and Joe Rothwell who are all set to feature for the clubs Under-19s side in their Champions League opener against Bayern Leverkusen at Salford City Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.
Kick-off is at 7pm. Tickets are free for United members.
