Manchester United striker joins QPR on loan

Manchester United have confirmed that Will Keane has joined Queen’s Park Rangers on loan until the end of the season.

The young forward was kept out all last season because of a cruciate ligament injury. He was eased back into action in the Under-21s this season where he made six appearances and scored four goals.

He picked up a head injury and then a knee injury before joining up with Nick Powell at Wigan Athletic, where he made four appearances before suffering another injury blow when a groin injury forced him to return to Carrington.

Uwe Rosler was keeping an eye on Keane’s recovery but Queen’s Park Rangers were successful in their attempts to bring him in. Keane will wear No. 12 for QPR.

He’s the third striker QPR have brought in on deadline day alongside Guillherme Dellatorre and Republic of Ireland international Kevin Doyle, so hopefully that does not mean he will simply be sitting on the bench for Harry Redknapp’s side.
