Inter Milan chief Erick Thohir has rejected claims that Inter Milan have opened talks with Manchester United over the potential transfer of Javier Hernandez.
The Mexican has been completely out of form and favour at Old Trafford which has led to widespread speculation he will leave United in the summer.
Valencia and Inter are two clubs who have been strongly linked with him but Thohir has denied any talks regarding Hernandez have already taken place.
“At the end of the season we will evaluate everything, both the young players and the more experienced ones, because we want to build a strong squad for the future with a view not just to next season but to the next three,” Thohir said.
“I think Hernandez is a good player but we haven’t spoken to either him or Fernando Torres.”
Chicharito has transformed himself from a striker who almost guaranteed you a goal every game to someone who struggles with every performance. Through a lack of minutes leading to a loss of confidence, Hernandez is a shadow of the poacher that made him such a fans’ favourite in his first two seasons with the club.
He is very much dispensable for United this year and David Moyes has shown through not using Chicharito that he isn’t particularly in his plans and in a summer where a big shake-up is expected at United, there is a very high chance that Chicharito could be one of the players to leave the club.
