Sevilla have revealed they are willing to listen to offers for their left-back Alberto Moreno.
The 21-year-old, who has a release clause of €30 million, is one of Sevilla’s prized assets and his agent Javier Moya has confirmed that Sevilla are ready to sell him, but only when they agree on a fee.
Moya also confirmed that Sevilla had turned down an approach from Napoli in January. The Spanish international has also been linked with a move to Real Madrid to replace Fabio Coentrao, but nothing has happened yet.
Speaking to Tutto Napoli, his agent said: “Yes, Napoli presented an offer to Sevilla in January, but the Andalusians believed it was not enough.
“To date there have been no others.
“It is said that there are many clubs interested, but they have not really received a concrete offer.
“The rumours of recent days are not right, there is no agreement.
“Sevilla are willing to deal, but on their own terms.”
United’s well documented and failed attempts to sign Leighton Baines and Fabio Coentrao, combined with the sale of Fabio, leaves United in a terrible position if Patrice Evra were to move, so somebody young and fresh like Moreno could an ideal long term replacement to help bring the squad into a new era.
