Bayern Munich star admits playing at Old Trafford was a dream

Bayern Munich’s David Alaba has admitted that he fulfilled a dream by playing against Manchester United at Old Trafford last week.

When asked how he enjoyed the game at Old Trafford by Kurier, Alaba said: “Brilliant. An incredible atmosphere.

“It’s now another dream come true. Now I know almost every major stadium in Europe, Milan is missing me.”

Of course, Alaba hasn’t been the only one to heap praise on Old Trafford as Pep Guardiola similarly enjoyed the occasion and the atmosphere the fans created.

Speaking about Guardiola, Moyes said: “When I saw Pep Guardiola after the game he said to me: ‘David, is it always like this at Old Trafford?’ and I said ‘Since I’ve been here it has been said’.

“He was taken aback by the atmosphere. He said it was unbelievable. He thought the crowd were fantastic and that is someone who has been involved in a lot of big games over the years.”
