Neville has no sympathy for Bayern Munich’s injury and suspension depleted squad

Pep Guardiola has revealed that Bayern Munich only have 14 first team players available and fit for the game against Manchester United tomorrow.

Thanks to a host of injuries and suspensions, a number of first team players are unavailable for selection which is good news for Manchester United as the likes of Schweinsteiger, Thiago, Martinez and Shaqiri have all been ruled out.

However, Gary Neville’s has got no sympathy for Guardiola’s side and neither will United fans.

Given the strength and depth that Bayern have in their squad, they are still going to be able to put out a team capable of beating anyone in Europe but there’s no doubt that it gives us a better chance of getting a result with so many of their first team players unavailable.
