Manchester United have confirmed that Jack Barmby has completed a move to Premier League newcomers Leicester City.
The 19-year-old was reported to be on the way out of United back at the start of May and he will now go into Leicester’s development squad.
Last season, Barmby spent time on loan at Hartepool where he scored five goals in 17 appearances and his good form on loan attracted attention from other clubs.
He is most comfortable out on the left but is also versatile enough to play through the middle which will put him in good stead at Leicester.
The newly promoted side now boast a collection of ex-United players as Barmby joins the likes of Danny Drinkwater, Matty James and Ritchie de Laet at the club.
