Manchester United potential formation – RVP and Mata dropped, Januzaj in

Next up in our look at possible Manchester United formations has been suggested by The Peoples Person reader Dyonisus.

Somebody who hasn’t featured in many of the starting XI’s so far is Adnan Januzaj but he makes an appearance on the right hand side of this 4-2-3-1 formation.

With Daley Blind and Ander Herrera partnering each other in midfield, Wayne Rooney has been given the No.10 role ahead of Juan Mata who has to settle for a place on the bench.

Angel di Maria has been placed out on the left-wing which is a role that would more than likely see him adapt a more natural winger role, with the emphasis on width and crosses to Radamel Falcao who once again spearheads the attack.

Here is how the line-up looks with this formation:

Januzaj as a right-winger is an interesting choice but one that could potentially work better than Mata as the Spaniard struggled last season when tasked with a wide role. Does that mean Januzaj would be a better fit?

We want to know what you think.

For the next week, we’ll be publishing your formation suggestions. Leave them in the comments and we’ll choose one every day to take a look at.
