Angel di Maria has hit the ground running at Manchester United since joining from Real Madrid this summer.
Not only has the Argentinian lived up to expectations, he has absolutely smashed them out of the park.
Arriving at a new club in a new country after becoming the British record signing is a lot of mental pressure but Di Maria has absorbed it and shown no signs of it being a burden for him.
In his first five games, he has been absolutely instrumental in all of United’s brilliant attacking play and his return has been phenomenal so far.
The brilliant thing is that Di Maria is still nowhere near his best form. He is not fit enough to last 90 minutes in the physicality of the Premier League but when he does gain match fitness, how good can he be?
It’s hard to think he can be any better than he already is but Di Maria is definitely not working at full capacity yet, so he’s going to be frighteningly good when he is.
