On a night where John O’Shea celebrated his 100th cap for the Republic of Ireland, the ex-Manchester United defender cropped up with a last gasp equaliser away to Germany in what was a fantastic moment for him.


Wayne Rooney was certainly happy for O’Shea:

O’Shea might be able to score chips against Arsenal and nutmeg Luis Figo with ease yet he hasn’t scored very often in his career, but he certainly knows how to pop up with a dramatic last minute goal…
