Anders Lindegaard’s Manchester United career may not be over after all

After Anders Lindegaard’s agent confirmed the Dane was looking for another club this summer, the goalkeeper’s time at Old Trafford looked like it was coming to an end.

Then Louis van Gaal announced Victor Valdes would be training with Manchester United in order to help him overcome his injury problems to further cast doubt over Lindegaard’s future at United.

However, Lindegaard has taken to his official Instagram to send a message which makes it sound like he has every intention of staying at United.

“Follow the light #Loyalty #manchesterunited #mufc #oldtrafford”

Lindegaard doesn’t particularly sound like a man who has conceded his United career is over. That being said, maybe he is talking in the past tense about his loyalty to the club over the last four years.

At 30, Lindegaard has got plenty of time left in his playing career but whether that will happen at United or another club after this summer remains to be seen.
