Excitement is building for this weekend’s derby against Manchester City and Luke Shaw can’t wait to be involved in his first as a Manchester United player.
The 19-year-old has slowly been improving since returning from injury and his performance against Chelsea last week was his best so far in a United shirt.
Chelsea was Shaw’s biggest test so far but an away game to City will be the toughest and biggest pressure match he has played in so far.
Up against Chelsea, Shaw played with real confidence and a self belief which he’ll need to have on Sunday if he is to stop City from scoring.

Defence has been United’s undoing this season. Scoring goals at the other end hasn’t been a problem but keeping the other team out has been. In Sergio Aguero, City have one of the best strikers in the league and Shaw will have to do his part to make sure he is kept quiet.
United go into the derby on Sunday with some confidence off the back of an important point gained against Chelsea but as is always the case, form sometimes goes out of the window when it comes to derby games.
