Saido Berahino sparks Manchester United transfer talk after attending Arsenal tie

West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino has sparked talk of a move to Manchester United after he was pictured at Old Trafford during their FA Cup quarter-final meeting with Arsenal on Monday.

Berahino took a seat in the stands next to representative Aidy Ward for the quarter-final clash.

Reports have suggested Man United are considering a summer transfer for the striker given the indifferent form of Radamel Falcao and Robin van Persie.

Berahino has enjoyed a fine season for West Brom, scoring 18 goals for the Baggies. He’s also got on the score-sheet three times for England’s U21s and has been consistently impressive all year long.

United would certainly have some competition for Berahino’s signature as Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are also interested in him.

Louis van Gaal’s side certainly need some vibrancy in their attack. Berahino watched on as Rooney scored against Arsenal but Marouane Fellaini and Angel di Maria missed good chances as the Gunners eventually secured a 2-1 victory.
