Man United will sign Memphis Depay in the summer say reports in Holland (Sport Witness). The 21-year-old has been in stunning form for PSV with 19 goals in all competitions which is very impressive for a winger, a position where United almost certainly need to strengthen this summer.
United are considering the signing of Danny Ings (The Telegraph). Danny Ings has emerged as a target for Louis van Gaal as he looks to strengthen United’s attacking options this summer. Ings is out of contract at Burnley in the summer and would be available for a compensation fee of around £5 million as a result of his age.
United want to sign Nathaniel Clyne this summer (The Mirror). The Southampton right back has emerged as one of United’s key transfer targets as Van Gaal looks to address United’s problematic right back position. The move for Clyne will also be influenced by alternative right back target Dani Alves’ reported decision to move to PSG this summer (Marca).
United will have to pay £28.5 million if they want to sign Paulo Dybala (The Mirror). Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini referred to Dybala as “the Messi of the future” and insisted that any club wanting to sign the 21-year-old star will have to part with £28.5 million to secure his signature. Dybala has been in impressive form, scoring 12 goals in 25 Serie A matches.
United target Kevin De Bruyne will not be leaving Wolfsburg for at least another year (The Express). The ex-Chelsea player has been in inspired form since moving to the Bundesliga side, leading to speculation that he could be a target for United and others. However, Wolfsburg boss Dieter Hecking has insisted that De Bruyne will not be leaving Wolfsburg this summer.
