Manchester United vs Manchester City. Derby day is here.
The Manchester derby was once a game where there was nothing more than pride and bragging rights on the line but thanks to the rise of City, it is now one of the most important fixtures of the season.
Tomorrow might not be a title decider but City’s terrible form means they are now embroiled in the top four rat race and United have the chance to go four points clear of them with a win.
In the derby earlier this season, United’s brave performance with ten men after Chris Smalling‘s red card counted for nothing but off the back of five consecutive wins, Louis van Gaal‘s side will be brimming with confidence.
Bring on the derby!

Manchester City’s title wins in 2012 and 2014 have been followed by troubled seasons where United’s rivals have stumbled badly and failed to rise to the challenge of defending the league title.
However, they have still won the last four derbies, and despite United’s recent run of form this is not the fixture that United fans ever take lightly.
A win for United at Old Trafford will mean so much more than just the three points – there’s the Champions League of course but it will also underline the late improvement United have made this season and what it means for their title chances next season.
