Manchester United are set to announce the signing of Borussia Dortmund’s Ilkay Gundogan this weekend according to various reports.
Reports yesterday emerged from local German newspaper Der Westen which suggested Gundogan was going to reject a contract renewal and Man United were considered the favourites to sign him.
Now, less than 24 hours later, Sky Germany have said an agreement will be announced this weekend making Gundogan the first signing by Louis van Gaal this year.
The reports have subsequently been picked up by Sky Sports News and the story is spreading like wildfire.
