Manchester United are set to sign Standard Liege goalkeeper Ilias Moutha Sebtaoui having beaten off competition from the likes of AS Roma and Tottenham Hotspur, reports the Daily Mail.
Mouth Sebtaoui, 16, is poised to join Man United on July 1 as he has had his move fast tracked after impressing Louis van Gaal‘s scouts suggest the reports and his arrival would be the latest in a string of youngsters who van Gaal is looking to bring into United’s academy.
There will already be a new goalkeeper arriving this summer in Vanja Milinkovic as the Serbian youngster will finish his loan spell back at FC Vojvodina.
Other than that, United have also given recent trials to SL Benfica’s Joao Virginia and Polonia Warsaw’s Tomasz Kucz. Van Gaal’s scouts are certainly working hard this year to find some of Europe’s most talented youngsters to the club.
Timothy Fosu-Mensah arrived as a 16-year-old from Ajax last year and has been so impressive during his early appearances for the U18s that he has already made an appearance on the bench for the U21s, something which shows just how quickly he is progressing through the ranks.
