Radamel Falcao was given a start against Arsenal with Wayne Rooney out injured, and it appears the game was a farewell for the popular Colombian.
It was one of his better appearances in a red shirt. He was enterprising in his movement up front and there wasn’t a player on the pitch who worked harder than ‘El Tigre’.
Sadly, few chances came his way and it became painfully clear to the fans that have taken him to heart that he won’t be staying around when he was subbed for Robin van Persie.
Falcao looked disconsolate as he made his way off the pitch, waving to the crowd and it seems a lot of fans are still disappointed to see him go, despite his poor record.
Thank You Falcao.

Do feel sorry for Falcao, we all know what a striker he's been in previous seasons but injuries have hampered him down. Wish him the best.

Perhaps @FALCAO waved goodbye for the season. And not forever

Falcao makes so many unnoticed runs. Feel for him.

Whilst at one point it seemed possible that Falcao could stay, and nothing has been confirmed, the striker didn’t look like someone who believes he has a long-term future at the club.
Whatever happens, most fans realise it was an exciting time to have a former world class striker around the club and that buzz lasted from September right through until May.
