Mats Hummels wants to stay at Borussia Dortmund this season and has decided against a potential move to Manchester United.
Given how poor Dortmund have done this year in the Bundesliga in comparison to their double winning exploits of only a few season ago, it wouldn’t have been a surprise to see Hummels reconsider his future at the club.
However, Dortmund’s sporting direct Michael Zorc has confirmed Hummels wants to remain in Germany with them and has no intention of leaving.
Michael Zorc confirms in tomorrow's Kicker that Mats Hummels has decided to stay at Dortmund and told Manchester United he won't join them.

“It was legitimate that Mats was thinking about his future but I always pointed out that we plan with him,” Zorc told Kicker.de.
A few years ago, Hummels was deservedly considered one of the world’s best centre-backs but it has to be said that this season his form has been very indifferent, much like Dortmund’s, and he isn’t the indomitable defender he once was.
From a fans’ perspective, Hummels’ shocking injury history always placed a question mark over whether he could become the reliable leader needed in defence at United.
However, by the looks of things, those concerns won’t ever be anything more than hypothetical as Hummels doesn’t want to leave Dortmund.
