Manchester United have once again been linked with a sensational move for Liverpool’s Raheem Sterling.
The 20-year-old is unhappy at Anfield following what has been a mediocre campaign for Brendan Rodgers’ side.
As well as Man United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal are all said to be interested in Sterling. The forward has bags of potential but it is unlikely that Liverpool will allow him to go to their arch-rivals.
We asked our Twitter followers for their thoughts on whether or not Sterling would be a good signing:
@PeoplesPerson_ the boy got real talent. Many just don't like him because he plays for Liverpool.

@PeoplesPerson_ His direct running and pace would be nice, not completely sold on him as a player but Van Gaal may bring the best out of him

@PeoplesPerson_ maybe MUFC were having some fun before, but now it's just the agent trying to drive up the bidding from City/Arsenal/Chelsea

@PeoplesPerson_ his best days are ahead of him. Will be top class in a few years. If we can buy him it's a yes from me

@PeoplesPerson_ w/o a striker like suarez making space for him, we saw how mediocre he is. Also, we have ADM, Depay,Young, Januzaj,

@PeoplesPerson_ he's got potential but is far from the finished product, he needs to pin down a set position but we need GK, CB, ST instead

Of course, it would be good to see Sterling in a United shirt just for the reaction of Liverpool supporters.
However, when it comes down to it, would the Englishman really improve Louis van Gaal’s side?
United have already brought in Memphis Depay and the likes of Angel di Maria, Juan Mata and Ashley Young can all play in Sterling’s position. It’s safe to assume that this rumour will be going nowhere.
