Manchester United transfer roundup: Nani and Angelo Henriquez leave Old Trafford

Here is the latest Manchester United transfer news and gossip.

There has been a lot of rumours surrounding Nani and Angelo Henriquez recently but their futures were made much clearer on Monday.

Nani completed a switch to Fenerbahce while Henriquez’s loan move to Dynamo Zagreb was made permanent. The former, in particular, will be missed by Man United fans despite some frustrating performances towards the end of his career at Old Trafford.

In terms of incomings, Torino president Urbano Cairo has confirmed that three offers have been made for Matteo Darmian. One of those is said to be from United, with Sky Italia claiming that the club submitted an improved €20m bid for the Italian.

Elsewhere, Porto are said to be hopeful of securing a deal for Real Madrid keeper Iker Casillas. If the move was to come off it could start a transfer merry-go-round involving David de Gea and Sergio Ramos.

Finally, Ronald Koeman has been speaking about United’s pursuit of Morgan Schneiderlin.

The Southampton boss confirmed that a bid was made two weeks ago for the Frenchman but that it was rejected for being too low. There has been no contact between the two clubs since and Schneiderlin will go on the Saints’ pre-season tour of Austria if United do not go back in for him.
