Manchester United have made £40m Harry Kane bid says commentator

As Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao have been let go by Louis van Gaal this summer, Manchester United fans expected a new striker to be signed.

Lots of strikers have been linked with the club including Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane and the latest reports, courtesy of a commentator during their Audi Cup game against AC Milan, suggest a £40m bid has been by Man United.

Earlier this summer, it was widely reported that Kane had a £40m price tag put on his head by Spurs and United were heavily linked with a bid.

Now, has that been put into motion? This commentator certainly seems to think so.

Kane was left out of Spurs’ squad to face AC Milan tonight but that may have simply been because they play United in two days time, rather than anything to do with a bid.

That being said, United’s squad is in need of a striker and we have the money to sign somebody for £40. Could Kane be making his way to Old Trafford?
