Here is the latest Manchester United transfer news and gossip.
Thursday was dominated by Angel di Maria as he completed his move to Paris Saint-Germain.
The majority of Man United supporters are glad to see the back of the Argentine after he went AWOL earlier in the summer.
Louis van Gaal is widely expected to replace Di Maria with Barcelona’s Pedro but the Spanish club’s president, Josep Bartomeu, threw a spanner in the works by insisting that United are yet to make an offer for the player.
This was later backed up by Barcelona’s new technical secretary Robert Fernandez, who added that they are still hopeful Pedro will stay in Spain.
Elsewhere, former United striker Teddy Sheringham had his say on the rumours surrounding Harry Kane. Sheringham believes that the young Englishman is right in staying at Spurs for another year.
Finally, Everton boss Roberto Martinez revealed that John Stones has been unsettled by the interest from United and Chelsea. Stones is reportedly at the centre of a transfer tug-of-war but Martinez wants Stones to stay.
