Manchester United U19s UEFA Youth League tournament squad confirmed

Manchester United have announced their squad for the upcoming U19s UEFA Youth League tournament.

The U19s will play in a tournament which mirrors Man United’s senior team. Therefore, they have been placed in a group with CSKA Moscow, PSV Eindhoven and Wolfsburg.

It is a great initiative to hold this youth tournament because there simply isn’t enough competitive football for those lower age groups.

For fans, the opportunity to see the likes of Timothy Fosu-Mensah, Axel Tuanzebe and Callum Gribbin on the bigger stage is an exciting prospect as well.

New summer signings Thomas Sang and Llias Moutha-Sebtaoui have been included in the squad although Regan Poole has been left out.
