Out of all of Man United’s players, Martial and Darmian were two who had very good international breaks.
Martial got two assists in two games and made his full France debut in their friendly win over Denmark, so he has taken his good form with United and replicated it at international level which is fantastic to see. At this point, nothing seems to phase him.

Oddly enough, Darmian was the only United player to score a goal during the international break and he helped Italy secure their place at Euro 2016 after topping their qualifying group.
The likes of Daley Blind and Memphis Depay also arrived back in Manchester but they’re coming in after failing to qualify for Euro 2016 with Netherlands, so they’ll be bitterly disappointed about that.
On Saturday, United have a really tough game against an Everton side who always play with real intensity at Goodison Park, so it’s going to be very difficult to come away with three points. The fact there has been a two week break after the Arsenal loss means it is doubly important for Louis van Gaal‘s side to bounce back straight away if possible by beating Everton.
