Morgan Schneiderlin was “buzzing” after scoring his first competitive goal in a Manchester United shirt against Everton on Saturday.
The Frenchman gave Man United an 18th minute lead by expertly stroking the ball into the far corner after Everton failed to deal with a set-piece.
Schneiderlin expressed his delight after his side secured the three points:

United’s Goodison Park goal-drought has been worrying as of late; Javier Hernandez was the last player to score there, all the way back in 2011. That goal came after United’s 6-1 hammering at the hands of Manchester City, and Schneiderlin’s goal likewise came after a severe battering against Arsenal the game before.
Needless to say, it did wonders for United, who from that moment on took complete control of a match that had so often passed them by in recent years.
The 25-year-old provided United with everything they lacked against Arsenal a fortnight ago; aggression, efficiency and confidence. With more big games on the horizon for Louis van Gaal‘s side, Schneiderlin’s role will be absolutely vital.
