Luke Shaw celebrates Wayne Rooney goal against Everton

Luke Shaw couldn’t help but celebrate after Wayne Rooney put Manchester United 3-0 up against Everton.

The Man United captain was put through one-on-one with Tim Howard after a mistake from Phil Jagielka gave him the ball and he made no mistake with a clinical finish.

Shaw might not be playing for Man United for the rest of the season but he’s now watching the games just like us fans. Good lad Luke.

After the humiliating loss to Arsenal, today’s performance against Everton was the perfect response from United and Louis van Gaal will be delighted with how his players got on.

Seeing Rooney break his Goodison Park curse was also a relief because he still looked shaky in the first half but he deserved plaudits for a good finish which killed off the game.

In Shaw’s absence, Rojo put in a mixed shift. His brilliant cross set-up Ander Herrera for his goal but in defence there were some sketchy moments. Overall though, he’ll be happy with how he played.
