Here is tonight’s round-up of all the latest Manchester United transfer news.

It’s been a busy day for a rapidly developing Saul Niguez story. This morning we covered an update from Cadena Cope who said Man United had sent a delegation out to Spain in order to negotiate a deal for the midfielder.

That was followed up by a report from Mundo Deportivo, quoting an Atletico Madrid official, saying Niguez was not for sale and the club wanted to keep hold of him. So, within the space of 48 hours this story has gone from a rumour about a bid to a club official ruling out a move. Watch this space.

One deal which has been completed is that of Ben Pearson who has joined Preston North End for an undisclosed fee. I’ve made my feelings on the situation pretty clear and I am disappointed to see the tenacious midfielder leave before getting a chance to prove his worth, but Preston fans should be happy as they’ve signed an excellent prospect in him.

As the week progresses, we expect to get updates on the Yoshinori Muto story and Felipe Anderson as well.
