Paul Pogba reminds Manchester United fans of what could have been

There were plenty of players who came and went under Sir Alex Ferguson but undoubtedly one where a big mistake was made was Paul Pogba.

Since joining Juventus, the young French midfielder has gone on to become one of the world’s best midfielders and his inclusion in the FIFPro Team of the Year, aged just 22, is indicative of how far he’s come in such a short space of time.

It really is a bitter pill to swallow for Man United fans and Pogba reminded us all of that with a ‘Throwback Thursday’ post on Twitter:

One thing that’s irked me about Pogba since he left is that he seems to mention us at every opportunity, talking about how he was disrespected at the club and simply had to get out. Just move on Paul and get on with your career.

Alternatively, if Pogba wants to let bygones be bygones and return to Man United then I wouldn’t be adverse to that either because there aren’t many better midfielders at his age in world football. We’ll brush it all under the carpet and forget about the past…
