Manchester United are interested in Genoa keeper Mattia Perin and will send representatives to watch him in action on Sunday, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
Perin is considered to be a bright talent and Man United are said to be one of a number of clubs keen on him.
United, who see Perin as a potential replacement for David de Gea should the Spaniard join Real Madrid, will send scouts to watch him against Verona.
Perin has reportedly spoken with Matteo Darmian about life at Old Trafford.
It is good that United are being alert should the worst happen and De Gea leaves the club but, for now, it looks like he is staying.
Perin is an excellent prospect and, at 23, will only get better, but it is hard to see him wanting to move to United if he has to compete with De Gea. Time will tell if United decide to firm up their interest.
