Will Keane has sent a heartfelt goodbye message to departing Manchester United U18s manager Paul McGuinness following an announcement he has left the club.
McGuinness was in charge of Man United’s FA Youth Cup winning side of 2011 which Keane played a major part in and he wanted to thank Paul for everything he’s done in his career.
Writing on his Instagram account, Keane said: “Sad to see Paul Mcguinness leave the club. Massive thanks to him for all the help he’s given me over the years. Wishing him all the best in the future. Here’s a memory that we’ll always remember! ? #Mufc #legend #youthcup #winners #2011”

McGuinness spent nearly three decades at United in a variety of roles and he was a very well respected man in and around the club, so he will be sorely missed.
United’s academy certainly needed a revamp after 12 straight defeats for the U18s and it wasn’t too much of a surprise to see him leave but it’s still sad to see such a long-standing member of the club’s staff leave.
