Roy Keane’s honest and harsh assessment of Manchester United after their 1-1 draw with Liverpool which sealed a Europa League exit was spot on.
The former Man United midfielder admitted he was genuinely saddened by our fall from grace over the last few years and questioned the leadership qualities in this current squad.
Keane also criticised the lack of fight and desire shown among the players. Back in his day, he felt ten feet tall wearing the United shirt but right now, the players are cowering and crawling into their shells. It’s hard to disagree with anything Keane said.
