Gianluca Di Marzio journalist Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Jose Mourinho is already preparing his transfer plans ahead of a move to Manchester United in the summer.
Mourinho is widely considered to be the front-runner to replace Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford in the event of the Dutchman’s exit and reports recently suggested that the Portuguese has signed a pre-contract agreement at the club.
Man United have been linked with Benfica’s Renato Sanches in recent weeks, as well as Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Romano believes that Mourinho is certain to take over:

Manchester City have been in poor form since they announced that Pep Guardiola will replace Manuel Pellegrini in the summer and that is perhaps playing a part in United’s thinking when it comes to an official announcement regarding Mourinho.
United’s transfer business has been disappointing for a number of years now but, if Romano is correct, it is good that the club have given Mourinho plenty of time to think about his plans.
It looks like it is set to be an interesting summer in terms of incomings and outgoings at Old Trafford.
