Confirmed Teams: Tottenham Hotspur U21s vs Man United

Manchester United Starting XI vs Tottenham Hotspur: J.Pereira, Varela, Williams, Tuanzebe, Borthwick-Jackson; Love, McNair; El Fitouri, Redmond, Riley; A.Pereira.

Substitutes: Henderson, Poole, Reid, McTominay, Mitchell.

Manchester United’s U21s play Tottenham Hotspur tonight knowing that a win will be enough to secure them their second U21s Premier League title in three years.

RoShaun Williams and Axel Tuanzebe re-unite at the heart of defence and will hopefully re-find the sort of form which made them such a formidable partnership at U18s level last season.

Cameron Borthwick-Jackson and Guillermo Varela bring some first-team experience into the squad as does Andreas Pereira who looks like he may be playing as a striker. Donald Love and Paddy McNair may well be occupying midfield roles.

Overall, it’s a bit of a strange line-up in terms of positions of some players but it’s a strong one, although there is no place for U21s captain James Weir who has either been injured or called up to the first-team for Wednesday night’s game against Crystal Palace.

Good luck to the U21s tonight!
