Manchester United’s squad completed a final training session on Friday morning ahead of this weekend’s FA Cup clash with Everton at Wembley.
With only Luke Shaw and Bastian Schweinsteiger sidelined through injury and Adnan Januzaj a doubt, Louis van Gaal‘s squad is looking the healthiest it has for some time which puts us in an excellent position against Everton.
There were certainly plenty of happy faces at Carrington today and why wouldn’t there be when a trip to Wembley is on the horizon.
I hope all of Timothy Fosu-Mensah, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford start against Everton. The three youngsters have been in excellent form for Man United and helped breath a new lease of life into a season which looked limp and over only a month or two ago.
Playing the kids at Wembley would be the biggest test for them all so far but having coped with everything that’s been thrown at them, I’d have no doubt they’d all swim and not sink. A Rashford and Martial double to help beat Everton 4-0 and reach the final? It’s not too much to ask.
