Manchester United fans were once again left in awe following Anthony Martial‘s excellent display in their side’s 3-1 win over Bournemouth on Tuesday night in the Premier League.
The 20-year-old ended his first league campaign at Old Trafford in emphatic fashion, acting as a persistent attacking threat and teeing up Wayne Rooney for Man United’s first goal of the night after some wonderful interplay with Juan Mata.
United fans, now accustomed to the Frenchman’s brilliance, were quick to laud another fine performance:
Martial, 20 years old, in his first season, and he's got 25 goals/assists. Mad how some people still don't rate him.

Martial is utterly ridiculous man.

What a player Martial is, connecting well with Rashford. That's a great combination I must say

Martial is really too good for our team! ???

Martial has directly contributed to 25 goals this season. That's crazy for a 20 year old winger

Old Trafford felt dormant even before the game begun. With little to play for, and the focus now on Wembley and the FA Cup final this weekend, one could understand the lethargy that encircled the opening stages of the game. But, as is becoming the norm, it was Martial who breathed life into the contest with a moment of brilliance just before half time.
The hallmark of a top player is to churn out pieces of magic at the unlikeliest of times. And with Bournemouth holding firm, alongside United looking stagnant, the youngster did just that. Doubted by so many on his arrival, United fans now cringe at how much worse things could have been if Louis van Gaal hadn’t signed the Frenchman.
