Manchester United are one of a number of clubs who have expressed a strong interest in Bordeaux forward Adam Ounas, according to reports.
Ounas, 19, is considered to be a bright prospect having scored five goals in 23 league appearances during the 2015/16 campaign.
Man United, Southampton, Stoke, Napoli and RB Leipzig have all made contact over the player but Bordeaux boss Jocelyn Gourvennec is said to be determined to keep him at the club next season.
Ounas is still undecided about where his future lies and he has scheduled talks with Bordeaux over the matter in the coming days.
United have plenty of youngsters on their books such as Anthony Martial, Luke Shaw, Timothy Fosu-Mensah and Marcus Rashford and it appears as if Jose Mourinho is focused on building for the future having also added Eric Bailly, 22, to the squad this summer.
United have built themselves on a reputation of giving opportunities to young players and it is good that Mourinho has recognised this. As well as Ounas, Mourinho is said to have his eye on FC Basel’s 19-year-old forward Breel Embolo, who is currently competing with Switzerland at Euro 2016.
