Manchester United transfer roundup including Pogba, Mkhitaryan and Azpilicueta

Here is the latest Manchester United transfer news and gossip.

Manchester United will have to submit a world record transfer bid of £125m if they want to re-sign Paul Pogba this summer, according to reports. Chelsea, Barcelona and Manchester City are also said to be interested in signing the Frecnh midfielder, who is currently playing a vital role for Didier Deschamps’ side at Euro 2016.

Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke insists the German club have decided to keep Henrikh Mkhitaryan next season. His contract expires in June 2017 and has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford to work under new boss Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho is set to sign Chelsea full-back Cesar Azpilicueta, according to reports. The Portuguese boss is a big fan of the defender with a potential cut-price switch on the cards at £11.8 million, with Paris Saint-Germain and Athletic Bilbao also interested in landing his services.

Lastly, Daily Mirror say Jose Mourinho has assured Phil Jones that he has a future at Man United. Jones endured a torrid 2015/16 season at Man United largely due to injury, making just 13 appearances over the course of the campaign.
