Man United transfer roundup including Ibrahimovic, Hummels and Pogba

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has confirmed in his press conference that he will retire from international football after Euro 2016. Sweden’s record goalscorer will quit this summer and his game against Belgium at the Allianz Riviera could possibly be the last international game of his career.

Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola revealed he has annual meetings with Man United to discuss any potential move which could formalise.

Bayern Munich defender Mats Hummels has indicated he turned down a Man United offer because he wanted to play Champions League football. The Germany international confirmed in May he would be leaving Borussia Dortmund at the end of the season to play for domestic rivals Bayern Munich.

New Reading boss Jaap Stam is considering a loan move for United defender Tyler Blackett, according to reports. Blackett enjoyed a run in the Man United first team during the 2014/15 season but his progress has stalled since then.

RB Leipzig have pulled out of a move for rumoured United target Breel Embolo, according to the Bundesliga side’s sporting director Ralf Rangnick. Reports had suggested that newly-promoted Leipzig had agreed a deal for Embolo, said to be worth something in the region of €20m, with bonuses.
