Henrikh Mkhitaryan has been welcomed to Manchester United by former Borussia Dortmund teammate Adnan Januzaj.
The Armenian was announced as an official Man United player during the week and he can rest assured that he has friends already at the club. The pair spent time together at the German club when Januzaj was on loan there at the start of last season.
The Belgian referred to him as Big Bro on twitter and while the two appear friendly in the photograph that accompanied the tweet, they might be going head-to-head for starting time once the season gets started.

The 21-year-old faces an uphill battle to gain Jose Mourinho’s trust and earn playing time under the new United manager.
Mourinho plays a style that is heavily reliant on his wingers. They must be decisive, quick, strong, willing to defend and able to score and assist. The club have invested in youth at this position in recent years with the signings of Anthony Martial, Memphis Depay along with the emergence of Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford.
Januzaj fell out of favour under Louis van Gaal and many fear for the Belgian’s future but he has the entire pre-season to convince the new United manager that he is worth keeping around.
