Manchester United have got an agreement in place with Paul Pogba for a potential move to Old Trafford this summer, according to Gianluca di Marzio.
The Italian journalist, who is widely considered one of the most reliable sources of transfer news when it comes to Man United, says a deal worth €13m net per season has been agreed with Pogba.
Di Marzio goes on to say the deal would include a world record €120m fee for Pogba which his agent Mino Raiola will present to Juventus after the end of Euro 2016. The article on the English version of the website may be written by David Amoyal but the original publication in Italian was written by Di Marzio himself.
Ed Woodward was in Monaco this week speaking with Raiola over Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s salary demands but it looks like Pogba was a topic of conversation as well. Jorge Mendes might have been United’s super agent in years gone by but there is every chance three of Raiola’s clients will join United this year – Ibrahimovic, Mkhitaryan and Pogba.
Now, I’m not going to get overhyped yet because I don’t think there is a single better signing United could make this summer than Pogba but when Di Marzio is publishing reports of a deal being agreed in principle, most likely with his agent Raiola, then we have to sit up and take note.
