Di Marzio: Juventus will not announce Paul Pogba move today

Gianluca di Marzio has said Juventus will not announce Paul Pogba’s move to Manchester United today, despite reports from Italy suggesting it could happen.

La Stampa’s Massimiliano Nerozzi reported on Thursday that the deal had been finalised an an official announcement would happen today, sparking wild excitement among Man United fans.

We covered these reports in our daily Pogba update for United Peoples TV:

However, Di Marzio and Fabrizio Romano have moved to pour cold water on those reports by saying it won’t happen today due to the complications of the deal:

It mans that by the sounds of things we are all going to have to wait at least a little while longer for Pogba’s move to be officially ratified by either Juventus or United. That being said, we’ve waited four years for him to come back so one or two more days isn’t the worst thing in the world.

So long as it does get pushed over the finish line and the deal doesn’t fall flat on its face then I can remain patient. All I want to see at the end of it is Pogba holding up his United shirt.
