Paul Pogba will join Manchester United later on today (Thursday) report The Telegraph.
On Wednesday night, James Ducker said a world record fee had been agreed and Man United were close to making an announcement. We covered those updates here along with Duncan Castles’ piece:
Now, the morning after, the suggestion is that United will confirm Pogba today on Thursday. If it were to happen, it would more than likely be an announcement of an agreement with Juventus more than anything else because Pogba is still in USA on holiday.
Everything is still pointing in the right direction and we are confident the deal is done but it isn’t half dragging out a bit. It’s reached the stage where an announcement will be just as much of a relief as it will be an exciting piece of news.
Here’s hoping The Telegraph are right and we can get that announcement made because it would mean we went into the Community Shield against Leicester City with the Pogba story off our back.
