Zlatan Ibrahimovic has discussed his Premier League debut with Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.
Jose Mourinho’s side saw out a 3-1 victory against Bournemouth at the Dean Couty and Ibrahimovic managed to find the winning goal a week after his finisher against Leicester City in the Community Shield.
Speaking after the game, Ibrahimovic insists it’s a brilliant start as he attempts to settle in.
“I tried to do my job and help my team,” he said.
“The first objective is to win, and the second is to score so that’s good. For me, the victory is the most important thing and whoever scores, it is a bonus.
“The team did good. It was a difficult game.
“First half we weren’t on 100 per cent but second half it became more easier, more space and we could play more our game, then we scored the second and third one.
“It was a good game, a good start. It’s important to start good.
“It’s not easy. Everything is new for me, the team-mates, club, environment, the new stadiums but slowly I get settled in.
“I just play my game, make the team win and we continue like that.”
Zlatan has managed an incredible record of scoring in his Serie A debut, his La Liga debut, Ligue 1 debut, Champions League debut and now his Premier League debut.
He has gotten his Man United career off to the perfect start and I can’t wait to see him in action with Paul Pogba against Southampton next weekend.
