Paul Pogba has silenced his critics at Manchester United with a spectacular performance in midfield against Southampton.
The Frenchman was expected to make his debut last weekend against Bournemouth, but a one match suspension resulted in him making his delayed return to England at Old Trafford on Friday night.
Although he wasn’t able to find the back of the net, Pogba had a dominating game in midfield and managed to make 11 take-ons throughout the game.
Here’s a look at his impressive stats at full-time.

Critics will latch onto the fact that he wasn’t able to score, but Pogba had a complete performance and was the dominating force Man United had missed in recent years.
Pogba will play a vital role for Mourinho’s side this season and his showing against Southampton was just the start of his long-term career on Mourinho’s exciting new side.
He can play at the heart of Mourinho’s side for the next decade, despite being classed as one of the best midfielders in the world at 23, he will only improve as he picks up more experience at Old Trafford.
