Gary Lineker was full of praise for Marcus Rashford‘s spectacular performance against West Ham on Monday evening.
He made the play happen by himself out wide, creating 3 chances in the second-half, more than any other player on the pitch had managed in the whole 90 minutes, and he found Mata with a pin-point pass to help the Spaniard claim the opening goal of the game.
Lineker took to social media after the game to praise the 19-year-old for all his hard work at Old Trafford.
Marcus Rashford is a delightful footballer and if he avoids any rotten luck with injury, he'll be a star.

Many believed Rashford would be pushed out of the starting XI following Zlatan Ibrahimoivc’s arrival in the summer, however he worked hard and forced his way into the side out wide.
He then went to make the role his own, picking up plenty of minutes under the Portuguese boss, but was criticised for not finding the back of the net even though he was playing on the flank.
Rashford has now proven that he’s got plenty to offer and showcased a masterclass against West Ham of what the side have been missing out on with him on the bench.
