Morgan Schneiderlin is undergoing a medical with Everton this afternoon and an announcement could be made on Wednesday evening confirming his move, according to Sky Sports.
Jose Mourinho confirmed Schneiderlin would be joining Everton and the deal is expected to be in the region of £22m for the French midfielder which would represent an excellent recoup by Man United on the £24m we paid Southampton for him last summer.
For Everton, Schneiderlin will be an excellent signing and a significant upgrade on the ageing Gareth Barry. For Morgan himself, it is going to give him a fresh start after what has been a disappointing two-year period in his career.

When United signed Schneiderlin he was one of the best defensive midfielders in the Premier League but it has just not worked out for him at all. That’s down to both a lack of opportunity on occasion and Schneiderlin himself failing to build on the reputation which brought him to Old Trafford in the first place.
So long as there are no complications with his medical, Schneiderlin should complete his move in time to be included in Everton’s squad for this weekend’s clash against Manchester City.
